Hightekbikes is a designer, manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of quality electric bikes. We have the largest selection of ebikes in northern California. The HTB-180 foldup is manufactured to our specifications and we are the only company in the U.S. with this design. Distributor and dealer inquiries are welcome. We retail ebikes from the major companies including Pacific Ebikes, Urban Mover, and soon to be added, Izip. We also sell manual foldup bikes for commuting by bus, BART, or train. Hightekbikes also sells conversion bikes using readily available frames and adding a motor kit. We can also convert the customer's bike. In addition, we sell a really nice motor kit for the do-it-yourselfer. We can repair, modify, and upgrade any ebike. Hightekbikes has been in business for three years and has done extensive research and development on all aspects of electric bikes. Hightekbikes is owned by an electronics engineer with 20 years experience. We know what works.
Company Goals and Outlook
We have our own personal beliefs on protecting the environment, carbon footprints, and global warming. We could lecture you about peak oil and wars for oil. But we won't, because that is not our purpose. Our goal is to provide the public with a reliable and practical means of transportation. We realize you need to get to work, the grocery store, and run errands. Some of our customers use ebikes for leasure, taking a foldup traveling, on their sailboat, or even private airplane. However most users of ebikes are working people just trying to survive and take care of their families. They don't have time to save the world. We promote ebikes as a replacement for the car for short trips. Ebikes are an amazingly functional means of transportation that will fit into your lives, no matter what your political views. Sure, you will feel good about yourself, but the important thing is that your transportation needs will be met in an economical and practical way. As an added bonus, they are really fun to ride!
