San Francisco Hill Climbing Electric Bike

This beautifully designed ebike is in a whole other class. The proprietary and patented drive system propels you up hills with ease. The motor is integrated into the bottom bracket and drives the chain independently of the pedals. All seven gears on the rear dérailleur are available to the motor. Since the motor is mounted low and centrally in the frame, the center of gravity is optimized. Unlike hub motors, there is no additional unsprung weight on the wheels. Throttle control and pedal assist are standard. The PAS has three power level settings. The locking removable battery pack is discreetly hidden in the rear rack. Available in two models, step-thru, and full suspension. These are not the lightest bikes in the world, but are definitely one of the coolest.
